The Edmonton Rally Club is probably my favorite place to shoot. With a new track every event, unpredictable year round northern Alberta weather, and an amazing group of competitors and organizers I have the opportunity to get out and shoot such a dynamic event and style of Motorsport that i not only compete in (when my rally car isn't broken) and truly love.
If you're ever interested in coming out to watch all events are free to spectate, if you'd love to take part in the club and even race stop by the clubs website for all the details to get involved! All you need is a vehicle that isn't on fire and a helmet.

Every year I try to make it to a FIA Formula 1 Event to take in the highest level of Motorsport that I love. Last few years was the Canadaian Grand Prix next maybe the Japanese Grand Prix!
Being only a spectator at these events Its rather tough to shoot these monsters due to obvious safety measures in place but until i get to wear the biggest smile while wearing a photog vest sitting feet from a hot track at these events ill be grinning happily in the stands and against the fence.
Words cant describe witnessing these historical cars zip around Gilles Villeneuve Circuit.
During their First practice our section emptied out and we found ourselves in a spot a lot closer to the track. Deafness quickly happened and unable to speak as we lounged about 10' from a corner and the drivers got on the loud pedal pure tears of extreme joy streamed down our faces as we took in probably the greatest Motorsport experience we will ever encounter.
Both of these class' cars will rattle your rib-cage with just an up shift and they have no issue throwing it around by the Wall of Champions.
Armed with sticky tires and a power plant much better than your roadcar they put on a great show around Gilles Villeneuve Circuit
WCMA Sanctioned Road racing brought to you by NASCC and their sponsors.
Budget endurance racing for the bravest teams around
“ChumpCar Canada is a series of automotive endurance races held on premier road race courses across Canada. The races range in length from 6 to 24 hours.
ChumpCar's slogan is "Real Racing, Real Tracks, Real Cheap Cars", and its stated mission, is to be "It's all about racing. It's all about tearing down those high-dollar roadblocks that, in the past, have restricted people with a passion for cars and racing from getting fully engaged and involved in motorsports. It's about enjoyment, friends and bringing road racing back to where it was fifty years ago - when racing was fun, cheap and nobody cared whether you had Snap-On tools or a mix-match of hand-me-downs in your toolbox."
A great club for those who want to test their skills against a series of pylons who apparently have something against you.

The 2018 Curious, Weird and Ironic Car Show out at Strawberry Creek Raceway Definitely brought out quite the group of rare, weird, and iconic cars of their time for a great afternoon of on track action and a delicious lunch!
True hometown circle track racing just in my backyard! After many years of putting off going to an event at Edmonton International Raceway i found myself with a pit-pass and started chasing the locals around the track from fun four to even a Nascar Pintys Series race this small track gets it all!
